Glitter cards are quite rare. Over the 100 years since they were made the glitter had a tendency to wear off.
These cards have been very well cared for.
There is a story that Miss Columbia, the icon of the AYPE, who was born at the Columbian Exposition, thus named, Grew up with glitter cards from the Exposition of her birth. She was fond of them and organized a group of Eskimo's & Igorrotes who sat around in the evenings preparing the glitter cards for sale to the Fair tourist's.
