The A.Y.P. Allegorical Painting
Dear Sir: -- This card is a reproduction of the $25,000 allegorical painting entitled “Alaska-Yukon-Pacific” painted expressly for the A.-Y.-P. Exposition, 1909. Copyrighted and painted by C. A. Holland.

The dominant figures stand for Alaska, Yukon and the Pacific. The Shell, laden with gold from Alaska and the Yukon, the fruit and flowers from the Pacific States, represents the shipping interests.
The Salmon portray the fishing industries The Totem Poles stand for a by-gone age giving place to a new creation indicated by the outlines in the background of the Exposition Builnings of 1909 dimly seen in their new glory. (Size: 3 ˝ x 5-7/8)

Text on lower left of all cards reads:

Without the advertising add-on these are very common cards and usually go unsold on the eAuction sites. The top card is the only one that is missing from most AYPE card collections. Card value $5 to $10 (mint) without advertising.
